  Past Pursuit
10/15/01

The motto in my class yearbook high-school senior year was “There are only the pursued and the pursuing, the busy and the tired.” I don’t know what that means to me, but I know it’s important. I used part of it, The Pursued and the Pursuing, as the title of the portfolio book that Matt Baker made me do. I wonder how he is….what he’s doing…I wonder if he knew just how charismatic he was. The bus to Bandersnatch seemed like such an adventure, and of course they didn’t card. The pretty green-haired woman that flirted with me on the bus and followed me a little ways off…or was that a different day, a girl with purple hair, I get confused. Did Alexandra ever understand how shy I was. Was I jealous, not of her boy-friends but of her ability to be with people like that? What good am I?

In high-school I was voted most likely to join a cult. Was that true, did I join a cult?
